Hi! I'm Jacqueline but most people call me Jacq. I've been blogging since 2006 and became slightly more active in 2009.
I'm a content creator, gamer and game-based learning designer.
I've actually left this platform inactive for quite a while to focus on my gaming website and I also write in Medium. This was my blog before I got my own domain, now it serves as an online journal for my musings, reflections, or whatever stories that I can conjure up in my mind.
Why the heck would a nobody like me who, by the way, is pretty private about lots of things, want to publish my journal for all to see? Here are my REAL reasons but it's really up to you (the readers) if you want to believe me:
- Someone out there may have similar experiences or interests as I do so it's nice to be able to share.
- Someone could learn some lessons from the mistakes I make.
- I experience the world from my point of view, perhaps someone has a different view and willing to help me see things from another perspective. I enjoy learning after all.
- It's a nice feeling knowing at least one other person hears me.
- Self-promotion! LOL
One more thing, while I consider English my main language, it's not my native language and I didn't grow up learning it all my life. Vocabulary limitation is an issue with me and you may also spot errors in grammar and spelling. It's not that I don't care to check but I prefer to not let grammar anxiety stop me from the flow.
