Beginning this year, I said bye bye to gym due to my busy schedule and planned to have a morning jog at the lake gardens near my home. But it didn't happen! I dread waking up at 6 a.m. in the morning when usually I work through the night. I'm just not a morning person and yes, it's an excuse.
Working out and staying fit requires serious self-discipline really. Since I don't want to waste time going to gym and refuse to wake up early in the morning for a jog, I bought a cross-trainer/ cycle which was on a great promotion as they gave us a free abs-roller as well.

They only charge an additional of 2% for installment and I always try to buy things on installment so I could plan my budget more effectively. I have the tendency to pay the full amount of my credit card bill every month but if you're the type who is prone to accumulate debt, I advise against the use of credit cards.
For purchase over RM2000, you get to select an item for free and I chose this abs-roller because I really love working on my abs. Many says that this abs-roller doesn't work but I also have seen some people get results with it, so I guess it all boils down to self-discipline to work on it consistently and also our diet. There's no point of working out everyday if you still eat like a cow, really.
So, with a couple of dumbbells and a yoga mat lying at home, I pretty much have set up a mini home gym that I can work out anytime and not having to worry about my work since it's only a few steps away.
