A Little Courtesy When You Double Park

 I always think it’s nice when someone double-parked and blocked our car, they leave a note that says something like this.

Although double parking is not right we do that merely because there’s not enough parking space available in busy areas. This is particularly difficult if you’re alone and you just need to run some errands.

You know how annoying it could be when someone else’s car is blocking yours when you’re trying to drive out. You can choose to wait until the person come back to their car, which might not be a good idea because it might take up to an hour or two or you can choose to honk to get the person’s attention. Either way, it’s not an ideal solution. Honking can cause a lot of unnecessary problems. You’re causing noise pollution to those around.

So, wouldn’t it be nice if you see a note with a contact number on the person’s windshield that you can call or send a text to inform them to move their car so you can get out? Besides, the person can then park their car at your parking spot. It’s really a win-win. And if you appreciate this gesture, wouldn’t it be better if you do the same as well? Leave a simple note with your contact details when you have to double park.
